I'm finally up and running again! I'm sorry for the delay. We've had a lot going on since I last posted something. Check out the new photos in the gallery tab on Monday, November 4th. Also, I have added a widget so you can sign up to receive updates via my blog. My blog is how I will be communicating with you. Think of this as a weekly newsletter sent directly to your phone or computer. The subsription widget is located on the right. Thank you for signing up and helping me, help you stay informed.
Social Studies - The Chapter 3 Test on Weather and Climate was taken yesterday. Being that there were 8 students absent, I will not be able to post the actual test on the Social Studies tab until those students have taken it and the retakes are done. Any students with a score of 15 or below will be able to redo the test on Monday, November 4th. Once the tests are scored and entered into HAC I will send an e-mail to let you know they are posted. I appreciate your patience as I have been out of class for a funeral and technology training.
Reading/Writing (Vogel) - The last day for AR is Thursday, October 31st. We will be having a Spooktacular Read In 1st-3rd hours. Students will be allowed to bring in a blanket, pillow, snack to share and a drink. Energy drinks are not permitted. Mr. Hurley (principal), Mrs. Johnson (asst. prin.), and Mr. Manuszak (asst. supt. of curric.) will be guest readers. Each will have a book to share and will talk to the students about their personal reading plans and favorite books.
